Debt Recovery company ‘in the pink’ as they raise money for cancer care research
Staff at Debt Managers Ltd's Bradmarsh Business Park based contact and collections centre, along with colleagues in their Edinburgh headquarters collected money to support Sarah Wilkinson.
Sarah is a HR Business Consultant with Rotherham Investment & Development Office (RiDO), the regeneration arm of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. Sarah took part in the 10 mile Pink Ribbonwalk which was held recently at Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire in support of the Breast Cancer Care charity.
Rob Walker, Client Services & Development Director with Debt Managers Ltd explained the reasoning behind the companies support for the charity
"When we heard about Sarah's efforts we were keen to give our support as a number of our agents have experienced someone within their circle of family or friends that have been affected by cancer."
"Money was raised to support the cause by staff making a contribution and wearing something pink. The addition of two pink panthers and a selection of pink liquorice allsorts was not anticipated, not to mention some of the male contingent finding their female side, but it all added to the fun."
Staff contribution raised £150 towards the cause which was matched by Debt Managers adding a further £300.00 to Sarah's fund.
